A new national poll reveals growing public dissatisfaction with Canada’s immigration levels and a sharp decline in trust toward newcomers—particularly refugees.
According to a Leger survey conducted for the Association for Canadian Studies and the Metropolis Institute, 62% of Canadians now believe the country is admitting too many immigrants—a four-point increase since March and more than double the 30% who said the same just six years ago.
