An effort to depoliticize classrooms is underway in Alberta following Premier Danielle Smith’s government tabling Bill 25. The proposed legislation aims to remove political symbols from schools and shift the focus back to a neutral, respectful learning environment for students.
On this week’s Buffalo Roundtable livestream, where our Rebel News hosts are joined by guests for a discussion on the top issues facing Western Canada, the panel gave unanimous backing to Premier Smith’s new bill.
“This just builds on a whole host of things that Danielle Smith is doing to put parents back in control of education,” said host Sheila Gunn Reid. “These people have my kids for seven hours a day, and I don’t need them infecting them with their outlandish progressive ideology.”
